#ExaminerLife is done, for now

Hello!

I have just completed the survey and written my report for this examination. Sad to say the process has come to an end! I really enjoyed it and it was a new experience with this kind of exam (can’t say any more) but I am so thankful for the experience! I hope I can do this again soon!

With regards to coronavirus, things don’t seem to have improved very much and it is so scary. I have been avoiding going out unless it is absolutely necessary. Last night I felt so ill, had a banging headache and fever, slight cough, upset stomach and dizziness. It is so scary when you feel these symptoms and knowing what is going on around the world. Today I am slightly better Alhamdulillah, but still a little worried, as you would be!! I’m sure it is nothing to worry about in’sha’Allah, and it is most likely due to the extreme weather changes happening at the moment and being in another country, but I hope I feel better soon.

I hope this situation clears soon and we can get back to a more ‘normal’ way of life. I pray that Ramadan is going well for everyone, and that everyone is keeping safe and is well physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually…

Ramadan, Quarantine and WFH

Hello non-existent readers of this blog! Firstly, I’d like to wish everyone Ramadan Mubarak! May we reap the benefits and experience the blessings of this beautiful month, Ameen!

We are still in lockdown/quarantine in Pakistan due to covid19. The numbers of cases and deaths unfortunately do not seem to be getting any better so for the time being we have to remain patient inside and pray that everything goes back to normal soon! Really missing home but I do like it here as well Alhamdulillah.

Ramadan has been going well so far although I get sooo hot sometimes so I am basically confined to sitting in the air con 🙂 Hopefully this new medicine works in’sha’Allah!

I’ve also started working from home marking exams as I did last year but this one is a bit different! No more can be said on that 😀

Anyway I hope you are all well and in’sha’Allah I will check on this blog again very soon!

This is an actual blog.. Shocking, I know!

As-salaam ‘alaykum non-existent readers of this blog! I begin every blog with an apology and an intention to blog more often and this is no different! The last time I blogged was at the beginning of Ramadan. Hmm, let’s rewind back to briefly review what has happened since July!

Alhamdulillah, during Ramadan, I graduated from St George’s, University of London with a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science! Graduation was really fun, but also quite tiring and the whole photography process was very annoying. Ah well, Alhamdulillah it was a special time, mostly for my parents who I’m sure felt proud of me that day 🙂

Ramadan was blessed Alhamdulillah, I did make some changes in my life and Insha Allah I try to carry on implementing those daily. Have a long way to go, I really need to work on fitting everything I want to do in my daily schedule!

After Ramadan, I visited Pakistan in August with my family for a couple of weeks. It was great to see relatives who I haven’t seen in over a year, Alhamdulillah. Personally, It was quite a memorable and insightful time for me.

Riiighht and then came September where I didn’t really do much other than the usual cooking and cleaning and helping around the house and being the best house-daughter I could be, haha! Can’t remember anything significant from September to really blog about.

So now we have reached October. This month I began my Arabic studies with the Ibn Jabal Gap Year programme. Its a really intense course which aims to go over a four year Arabic degree in the space of 9 months. Basically, its pretty tough and I’d appreciate your Duas if anyone is even reading this. I really hope you can keep me and especially my family in your blessed Duas. Life is pretty tough at the moment but I just know Allāh  ﷻ will help us get through.

Take care 🙂
